IB PYP & MYP Music Teacher

Duties & Responsible:

1.       Plan and prepare lessons for music class according to specified scope and sequence documents.

2.       Ensure the creativity and high quality of teaching and learning of the class.  

3.       Responsible for curriculum development according to IB standards.     

4.       Organize and Collaborate with all relevant departments, to prepare for Assemblies, special events, display, performances, etc.

5.       Actively participate in the teaching and research, training and teaching guidance activities organized by the school and the department;

6.       Responsible to establish students’ clubs, including but not limited to Choir Club, Musical Theatre, Orchestra, etc.

7.       Other teaching and student related work arranged by the leader;

Package

      1.  Salary range is 25-35k monlty.

      2.  Fully paid summer and witner break. 

      3.  Free accommodation with fully furnished.

      4.  10k fligh allowance.

      5.  3 free meals every day. 

Job requirements:

1.       Have more than 2 years' teaching experience in music in international schools;

2.       Full-time Bachelor’s degree or above with major in Music;

3.       Proficient in a musical instrument;

4.       Familiar with IB Curriculum, ideally with experience in both PYP and MYP;

5.       Love education, love students, abide by teachers' professional ethics, have a strong sense of responsibility and good team spirit.
